Benefit Football Matches.
The Huntly Football Clubs are organising Benefit Football Matches, to be played to-morrow at the Recreation Ground, the proceeds to be given to Mrs Baker, whose husbaud was killed in action in France. There will be two games, the first, a Soccer match between the Huntly Football Club and the “Geordies” commencing at 2 p.m. The second, commencing at 3.30 p.m. will be played under Northern Union Rules between the Huntly Seniors and Juniors. Admission to the ground will be one shilling. As the object for which this benefit is being held is such a very worthy one, and as the bill of fare provided is so good, no doubt there will be a good attendance. There is every appearance of fine weather to-morrow, and we trust that evoyene will make an effort to roll up and thus swell the total which will be handed to Mrs Baker.
