BENEFIT MATCH. HUNTLY ROVER 3 V. BRICKYARD RAMBLERS. The result of the match between the Huntly Rovers and Brickyard Ramblers played under Union Rules, at the Recreation Ground on Saturday last, was a well deserved win for the former, by 21 points to 9. The game was more evenly contested than the scores indicate, and the spectators were treated to a really good game. A feature of the play was the fine passing runs by the Rovers, which were responsible for the big score put up by them. For the winners, tries were scored by H. Peckham (2) and Geo. Paki, C. Morris. W. Callaghan, Tumeke, P. Hill, one each and for the losers by A. Raynor F. Raynor and J. Ashcroft. Geo. Paki, Tumeke, and W. Callaghan were the most conspicuous for their play on the Rovers side, while A. Raynor was a tower of strength to the Ramblers. Mr. F- Littlewood of Taupiri, made a very efficient referee.
