Huntly Bowling Club.
A general meeting of the Huntly Bowling Club was held on Tuesday evening last there being over a dozen present, including three ladies.
A discussion of the financial proposals of the Special Committee resulted in a motion by Mr George, seconded by Mr. .Wilson, that the matter be left to stand over for a week. The motion was carried. The rules as drafted by the Special Committee were then read and discussed, and eventually they were adopted. A discussion of the colours to be adopted by the club malted in the selection of the Belgian colours, Black, Red and Gold. The keenness of the members to get the Club in going was evinced by the discussion on he question of getting on with Construction of the Green, residing in the carrying .of a motion moved by Mr Eecles and seconded by Dr. Me Diarmid Sr., that the President, Secretary and Mr. F. Harris, take immediate steps to get on with the levelling of the ground.
