THE HUNTLY PRESS. PUBLISHED WEEKLY AT 1 P.M. FRIDAY, MARCH 23, 1915. Przemysl.
THE news of. the fall of Przemysl will have been received with great radioing all over the Empire and in all the countries of the Allies, for this great fortress has been a great thorn in the side of the Russians, and the presence of a large army garrison there has done much to hinder the Russian advance in northern Hungary. No doubt this great event would be the universal theme of conversation just now, if it were not for the great difficulty of pronouncing the name. To help those who are thus hindered we print below a sentence which will enable them to pronounce the word without difficulty. The sentence ,is “ A dam(p chemise’ll)make you sneeze.” Say this sentence over a few times until you can pronounce the portion in brackets by itself and you will have the correct pronounciation of the word Przemysl.
