Huntly P. & K. Club.
The annual meeting of the Huntly Poultry and Kennel Club was held in the King’s Hall on Wedneseay evening last, February 17th. Present Messrs W. Thomas (chairman), C. Siarv, H. A. Clinch, C. Tucker, J. Hinchco, H. H. Sissons, and W. M. Riggans (secretary.) The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.
The balance-sheet for the last year was brought for ward. The receipts were £lO9 14s 6d, and the expenditure £lO2 2s sd, leaving a credit balance of £7 12s Id. Moved by Mr H. A. Clinch, seconded by Mr J. Hinchco: That the balance sheet as read be adopted. Carried. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:— President—Mr L. B. Harris, jr.
Vice - presidents Messrs T. Nicol, C. Dent, W. Wright, C. Maxwell, J. P. Bailey, L. B. Harris, sen., E. McKinnon. Campbell and Ehrenfried, G. Shaw, W. H. Bailey, G, M. Fraser, and J. Elliot. Committee — Messrs C. Starr. C. Tucker, J. Hinchco, W. Thomas, H. A. Clinch. W. M. Riggans, W. Waring, J. Brooks, E. Harris,F. Littleproud, J. Shaw, J. Dennie, J. Robertson, C. C. Porter, and H. H. Sissons. Moved by Mr C. Starr and secoded by Mr Clinch : That Mr C. Tucker act as secretary and treasurer. Carried.
A hearty vote of thanks was passed on behalf of the late secretary for his assiduous duties, and carried unanimously. A vote of thanks to the chairman brought the meeting to a close.
