At the last wool sale held in Auckland on February 2, the prices obtained in the district vere very irregular. Mr Jarneison topped the list with Is lb., Messrs Caley Bros. 10)4d lb., Mr W. C. Broughton 9V£d lb., Mr A. McKiunon lb., while Mr T. Tapp had his passed in at sJdjd lb. The recent rains have done a lot of good, and the swedes are now coming away nicely. The state of the road between Rotongaro and Ruawaro is disgraceful it being a good few years since any work was done on portions of this road.
