Huntly Town Hoard.

MONTHLY MEETING. The usual monthly meeting of the Huntly Town Board wa; held a week earlier than usual this month, owing to the holiday next week. There were present:—Messrs J. P. Bailey (chmrmdn) L. On the motion of the Chair- ; man, it was agreed to accept the j offer, and to try and urge the Department to push on the work as expeditiously as possible. The Clerk reported that the small dispute about the amount of royalty due from the Taupiri Coal Mines’ to the Board had been satisfactorily settled. Accounts amounting to £36 10s 7d were passed for payment.
