KING’S HALL
Programmes of exceptional merit will be screened at the Empress this week end. Tonight will be starred by that great Australian production “A Blue Gum Romance." this picture which is 3000 ft. in length, was acted in and around Sydney and should be seen by all Australians, supporting this will be a strong programme of scenics and dramas, whilst the lighter side will consist of a 1000 ft. Keystone Comic, “ Snooks Flirtation ” featuring everyone’s favourite Ford Sterling. For Saturday there will be a double star programme headed by a great Eastern Drama “ The Hindu's Hate” also a nautical photo-play entitled “ The Buccaneer.” Scenes of the earthquake in Italy will also be included in Saturday’s monster bill. The film Dp Luxe for Monday will be a great Detective Drama "The Counterfeiters ” supported by a varied programme of scenics, dramas, and comics.
