Raglan Election Result.
The majority for Mr Bollard as disclosed at the preliminary count was 1441, so that the difference between that and the final count is only seven, which shows that the Returning Officer and his assistants must have done goo 1 work on the day of the Poll. When compared with the work done in some of the southern electorates, the achievement of the Raglan officials stands out as most excellent, for there is not one instance here of that gross carelessness wh\h notably in Hawke’s Bay and Wellington East led to whole blocks of votes being credited to the wrong man.
The final official announceent of the Raglan Electoral ill gives the result as follows, Bollard 4002 Thompson 2554 Furniss 96 Informal 83 Majority for Bollard 1448
