- Huntiy, 4th. Dec. 1914. Mr J. A. Parkes, President, Medical Society. Dear Sir.—-Some two years or so ago a subscription was taken up by Mr Huchinson, I lie then proprietor of the Huntiy ■ Press for the purpose of procuring an ambulance waggon for Huntiy. He collecte d £6 9 6d. and on leaving the town lie handed the subscription list and money to me. Since the Medical Society has taken in hand the purchase of ambulance fitters, I am quite willing, and have done so to pay this amount into the credit of the Medical Society provided that when the litters arrive, as ordered by your Society, one shall be available for use to the public of Huntiy and which I understand from yourself, the the Society is quite willing to do. Mr Burgess paid this amount £6 9 6d. less Gd. exchange on cheque into your a/e some few months ago. 1 am, Yours Faithfully
