The late Captain lain Mac Dougall, recently killed in actioi in France, held a commission it the famous grenadier guards win have recently been mentioned l'o bravery at the front. He came to New Zealand a: Aide-de-Camp to Lord Islington the late Governor of New Zealand. During his stay in thi Dominion, Captain MacDougal made many friends and amoni sporting circles he was wel known as an athlete and a keei shooting enthusiast. In quest o game, he accompanied Lon Islington to the Waikato and wa the guest of Messrs. J. McKinnoi Ohinewai, A. McKinnon Puke miro, and E. J. Farrell Huntly a their respective residences.
