Prisoners of War.
The Postmaster-General an ’.ounces that letters for Nev Zealand prisoners of war in ternecl abroad should be ad dressed according to tin following example : Captain X. (or Private Y.) (Name of Unit), British Prisoner of War, Prisoners of War Informatiov Bereau BERLIN. Letters may be posted with out prepayment, and no chargt will be made for registration o lisurancs it these serv.ces are desired Parcels wil also be acc-eptec without prepayment' either foi oostago or for insurance. Ni riter may be enclosed in i oarcel. Any letter, parcel, etc., •eceived for delivery and bearing t. clear indication of having beer ;eut by a prisoner of war wil te delivered without charge. A oarcel sent by a prisoner wil ilso be redirected without tharge. Money orders for prisoners oi war will be issued free of comnission. The words “ Prison?i if War ” must be written across he requisition form. The foregoing is in accordance vitli arrangements made by the British Post Office.
