Stanley of the death of Mr Win. \ I Blenkinsop, second son of Mr 1 j Richard and Mrs Elizabeth Blenks i insop, of 7 Joicey Square, Stanley, j which is supposed to haveoccurrjed at a mine disaster in the j Huntly coalfields, New Zealand, a few weeks ago. Mr Blenkinsop emigrated to New Zealand, about two and a half years ago. At first he commenced in the mines ’ as a coalhewer, but latterly was L employed at Huntly. at which " place his wife and family joined [ him. Whilst in the old country he was a keen breeder of poultry, and acted for many years as , secretary to the local poultry and rabbit show. He was well-known throughout the district and much respected. He leaves a wife and family of throe sons and one daughter. Mrs Blenkinsop (deceased’s wife) is a daughter of Mr and Airs R. Willson late of Tow-Law, now of East Stanley, Westport Mines.
