A Big - Hit in War Pictures.

There are a few things that appeal more directly to the average reader than a really unusual and artistic portrait of a popular hero. “ Life ” has just published a set of four large and really fine por-trait-studies of leaders in the great war -Kitchener, General French, Admiral Jelliooe, and General JoftTe. These “heads” are issued at the low price of one shilling each, and give the purchaser practically a life-size portrait in each case. ready and fit for framing. They are known as “ Life’s ” War Portraits. The studies are drawn by the Australian artist, Chas. Nuttall, from original photographs, and make as tine a set of war portraits as have come under, our notice. Each portrait is printed in double-tone on the finest heavy plate paper which measures !5 x 20 inches. The effect of the big pictures printed in rich doubletone on art paper 15 x 20 inches in size is most striking. The set of “ Life’s ” War Portraits are the sort ot picture that makes an attractive gift, or will look effective if framed. The supply of these life-size heads is limited. .Readers who wish the set of four heads should order them at once from their bookseller at one (shilling each. Ask for “ Lite’s ” War Portraits.
