Ohinewai School.
Ohinewai school received its visit with notice from Inspector Priestly on Thursday last. Before leaving, the Inspector expressed himself as being very pleased indeed with the work done by the teacher and pupils. He said it was a long time since he had seen such consistently good work right through a school. In the presence of the scholars, he congratulated the teacher on the excellent result of her labours, and toid the children that they were fortunate indeed in having so good and capable a teacher. As the school is just on the verge of being entitled to an assistant, the work is therefore of the hardest description for a sole teacher, .and this -makes the work more meritorious. The children showed their appreciation of their teacher's services by giving three (or rather thirty), hearty cheers whet. tEtf school was dismissed.
