Australian Amateur Champions.
The Queensland amateur boxing authorities have decided !c abondon the Australian championship meeting, owing to the war. The New Zealand Boxing Council, by the way, had made the following selections for the championship:—Feather A. Goodwin, Dunedin ; light, M James, Auckland ; Welter, J Wood, Invercargill. These boxers had all agreed to make the trip. The Charters Towers centn cf the Q.B.A. communicated wit! the N.Z.B.C. relative to the visit by six amateurs to New Zeal am in 1915, to compete at the principal centres. Information respecting travelling expenses, dates itinerary, and the prospect ot financial assistance has beer asked, and the New Zealand body is bringing the mattei under notice of the different centres.
