Oddfellows Ball.
The Committee appointed by the local lodge of Oddfellows is making preparations for the Eighth annual ball which will be held in the Miner’s Hall on the Evening of September 17th. next. The various arrangements are well in hand, and it is confidently expected that this function will eclipse all former functions of the kind, no matter how successful and enjoyable these have bsen. The supper will be on an elaborate and generous scale, while the invitations will be issued in the course of a day or so.
