Huntly Hibernians.

The half yearly meeting of the Huntly Hibernian Society was held in the Convent School on Sunday evening when there was a large attendance of members. The i-eport and balance sheet, as adopted, showed that the branch was in an excellent state both numerically and financially. Office-bearers for the ensuing term were elected as follow: —President, Bi'O. M. F. McLeod; Vice-President, Bro. T. Edge ; Secretary, Bro A. Woiwood; Treasurer. Bro. F. Firrell, Warden, Bro. A. Berry; Guardian, Bi-o Geo. Monaghan; Sick Visitois, Bxo J. Banks and A. Webb. After having installed the office-bearers, the past-pre-sident (Bro. W. Darby) thanked his officers and the members for the valuable support and assistance they had rendered during his term of office, and congratulated the members on securing the aid of the office-bearers elected that evening. As a mark of appreciati n of services rendered Bro Darby was the recipient of an elaborate PastPresident’s sash, Bros. J. Robertson, F. Farrell, A. Woiwod, aiid M. F. McLeod testifying to the good work done by Bro Darby not only in Ills capacity as a member of the Lodge, but as a citizen.
