MINERS’ HALL, TO-NIGHT. A programme of rare quality will be screened at the above hall to-night, the star feature being “ Wamba, the child of the Jungle.” This is one of Selig’s great masterpieces, and is full of incident thrilling and sensational. The plot is built on the the beautiful theme of mother love. Baley Wade takes the child’s part, and the real thrill comes when she is pursued by a huge lion, but is re cued in time. The supporting pictures contain scenics, educational, dramatic, and comedy, subjects of genuine interest, one especially, “ The U3es of Dynamite ” by the Vitagraph Co. needing special mention. In addition to the superb picture progr mme, the management announce that Mr Hugh Gibb will give another instalment of Iris comedy selections. These items are much appreciated, and no doubt a bumper liouso will be the result of such a programme. A good change is announced for Saturday, when the beautiful Pathecolour star, “ Till Deatli us do Part,” in two reels will be shown. This play is full of excitement, and grand military and concerns the jjoinfc; of two women and oneman. A special attraction has also been arranged for in the film of the recent Hatuapu camp and cadets parade in Auckand. This film is of local interest as many of our boys were up there, and also shows Sir lan Hamilton. A good supporting programme of choice subjects will fill up the bill. The usual mid week chage on Tuesday. Seats can be reserved at this office.
