Miss Rilph visited the town yesterday’. Mrs and Miss Harris of Harrisville, left on Taos lay for the city where they will spend a brief holiday. Miss Winnie Anderson, of Auckland, spoilt the week end at the Hylands. Bath Mrs F. J. Cjx and Mrs Close, Raynor’s roa 1, are on the sick list. Among others who assisted at St. Pauls’ Church Bazaar wore Miss Eddy and Miss Freegard, Wa erangi. Mr Claude Dent who has been appointed to the clerkship at the station, took up his new duties on Saturday. Mrs \V. J. Ralph, junr., after a prolonged holiday in the South, returned to Huntly with her little hoy on Wednesday. On Wednesday Mr Herbert j Lee left Huntly, where he has | acted as c idet at the railway j stati >n for some two years, to ; take up relieving work. In consequence of muscular j heart strain caused by lifting a j heavy weight, Mr J. Shaw junr.. lias been incunaerta: .* i for the last fortnight. As he was suffering from an ! attack of diphtheria, Wesley, B]o years of age, s>n of Mr J. 1. Harvey, was taken to the Waikato II uspitalon Wednesday. Mr Will.
