Correspondence.

TO THE EDITOR. SIR,-—While periling your valuable columns in the issue of the 18th inst, I noticed an advertisement concerning the “ Huntly Brass Band.” I am sure, Mr Editor, that I endorse the sentiments of the whole of the musicloving community of our little town by wishing success to the conveners of the above meeting. I, as a citizen, feel justly proud to know that there are still a few enthusiastic bandsmen in our midst, and, i have no hesitation in saying, by their good example and prompt action, we will soon have the pleasure of listening to our old and almost forgotten Huntly Brass Band. I am etc, THE LOST CHORD. (TO THE EDITOR.) SIR,—-As one who has passed the Ambulance examination *in nursing held so long ago that I really forget the date, I want to know what has become of the certificates. Surely, the .society has not “gone bung”, and I have not heard of the secretary having died or having been burned out. Yours faithfully, A NURSE/
