Huntly Road Board.
A meeting of the Huntly Road Board was hold last Saturday, there being present Me-srs J. P. Bailey (chairmam), L. B. Harris junr.. Augus McKinn >ll, and the clerk, Mr F. Harris. Mr T. B. Insoll, clerk of the Kirikiriroa Road Board, asked that a portion of the thirds received hv the local board should be expended on giving the owner of section 478 A, Block XI, an outlet to the Ohinewai —Tahuna road. As the road in question was outside the Board’s district, it was decided to inform Mr Insoll that the matter was beyond their jurisdiction. Ii was resolved to ask the Waikato County Council to have fox-gloves, which are spreading rapidly in part- of the Board’s district, gazetted as noxious weeds. Ail}ount - totalling £49 15 6 on the general, and £269 on the loan, accounts were passed for payment.
