OH UR A. We held our monthly sale in the above yards on Saturday 22nd inst, when we had a full yarding and all lines offered changed hands. We quote : 3! 5 year steers, £6 55;3 vear steers, £5 10- to £5 15s; 18 months to 2 year steers. £3 15- to £4 ; 2 year heifers, 18 month heifers, £3 to £3 10- ; shorn lambs, 8s (LI ; fan ewes, 8s 10 J to 10s. TE ANGA. We held our sale in the above yards on Tuesday, 25th inst, when we had a fair yarding. C -inpetition was keen, and all lines offered changed hands. OHAUPO RAM FAIR. We held our annual Ram Fair in the Ohaupo yards on Thursday 27th inst., when we had a fair yarding of all classes of rams. Bidding was dull for all class;*-, with the exception of Bhopshire and Southdown for which there was a good demand. OHAUPO. We held our fortnightly sale in these yards on Tuesday 25th inst., and had an average yarding when most of the lines offered changed handfe, WESTFIELD FAT STOCK MARK ET, Messrs Dalgety and Co, Ltd., report having held their usual weekly Fat Stock Sale at Westfield on Wednesday 26th Febr., as under: BEEF : A moderate yarding, prices were 10 3 to 20s. per Imml I higher on prime ox; oth.’i j ijmilities selling at Into rates. Choice pens of extra prime ox sold at up to 29s per 100 lbs. Ordinary quality ox at 25s to 265. Cow and heifer beef at equal to 22s to 245.
VEAL: a large yarding. Prices were lower. Heavy runners made up to £4 13s; ~ choice suckers. 33s to 44s ; others, 3s to 255. MPTTON: A large yarding. Exporters were operating and prices were fully Is higher than last sale. Extra heavy prime wethers made ISs 6d to 22s 3d ; medium weight ditto, Ills (id to 17s 9(1; light and unfinished, 14s oh to 15s (id. Extra heavy ewes made Uis to 17s 9d. Good ditto. 13s Gd to 14s 9.1. Inferior, ' 5s to 9s. j Lamb: a large ' yarding. Prices were Is (id to 2s per head higher than last sale, expert . I buyers obtaining more than half ; the yarding.
