Marshal! } presiding. - After some discussion during which some plain speaking was ' indulged in, it was decided that ! members of the union, who desired to do so. might join the ’ new union, and that a deputation ‘ meet the directors of th ■ Taupiri : : Mines with a view to the re-in-i’ j statement of the nine members of ' ; he executive whose services the r Company had dispensed wiili as a result of tho “holiday” which was taken against the wish of the Company. On account of the decision to 1 allow members of the “old’ union to. join the “new” one, the accession to the membership of the latter has boon very large 1 during the week.
