When a report that Miss Fitzgibbon has ■ declined to accept the position offered to her was referred to the presiof . ilia. Wellington executive ol the Plunket Society, Mrs Bullock, she stated the Wellington Branch had nothing tc add to its previous statement. In taking the action that she had, Miss Fitzgibbon was being loyal to the nursing sisterhood, and her refusal to accept the position would leave the appointment of a successor to Miss /Patrick to the lull council of the Society.
