No fewer than seven women are now under arrest in different countries charged with spying for an international espionage ring. A woman named von Stahl was closely questioned l>v a magistrate regarding relations with Marie Louise Chule, a beautiful Latvian blonde arrested at Helsingfor in October. Doth are gifted linguists, women of exceptonal culture and knowledge of the world. . Though von Stahl is 38 she is still handsome, She appeared in cou'ri wearing cheap clothes recalling a girl student of French universities. There little direct evidence against her sc far disclosed,'the rlnef fact being her intimacy with Professor Martin, but she denied that Martin ever gave her a document. Von Stahl added that the charges against her are lies, invented in Finland.
