The seventh Pan-Ameriban Conference closed to-day. The final session handed over the Gran Chacd “ ’peace negotiations to the League of Nations.

During the conference many conventions of a social and cultural nature have been adopted such as women’s rights, hut little concrete progress has been made towards the rehabilitation of inter-American trade.
