For horses , fvhich have been in .one •of the Counties of Duller, liiangahua, Grey or Westland, or any West Coast Borough, for at least three months imine/liately prior to the race, and owned or leased by residents of the said Counties or Boroughs. Horses will be handicapped to do • 3.7 or better. \ It -miles. ■ Nomination 20s; acceptance 20s. 2. RIMU GOLDFIELDS HANDICAP (in harness) sovs. Second horse to receive 11 .sovs. and tho 3rd horse 5 sovs. from the stake. For unhoppled trotters only. Horses in thi ß event will be handicapped to do 3.51 or" better, 1J miles; Nomination 20s; acceptance 255.
