Barrowman of Christchurch -and Mrs Parke of Rangiora), and one son, (Mr William Brocklehurst of Takapau, Hawke’s Bay), to whom the sympathy of a wide circle of. friends will be, -extended.- 1 - ,

Advice was received this . morning of ) the death last night of. Mrs King/ wife jy ? - of Mr Vernon King, of Christchurch,. ::j and formerly of the staff at Hokitika ,c; railway, station. The deceased w.as- a-, daughter of Mr and Mrs Field, of A,’ ■Moana, and formerly of the Railway (Hotel, Hokitika, and sister of ' Mrs .Allan Chapman, of .Kanieri Forks.
