I.—DISTRICT HANDICAP (in harness) of ‘SO sovs, Second ahorse to. revive 10 sovs. and the 3rd horse 5 sovs. from the state. For horses tvliich have been in one .of the Counties of Duller, Inangahua, Grey or Westland, or any West Coast Borough, for at least three months immediately prior to the race, and owned or leased by residents of the said Counties or Boroughs. Horses will be handicapped to do 3:7 or better. miles. Nomination 20s; acceptance 20s.

2.—RIMTJ GOLDFIELDS HANDICAP (in harness) \of, 55 , sovs. tiecond. "'torse to rechive il .sovs'. and tho 3rd horse 5 sovs. from the stake. For unhoppled trotters only. Horses in this* event will ; be handicapped to. do 3.51 or better, li miles. Nomination’ 20s; aeceptance 255.
