1934 VALUES FOR N.Z. WHEAT

CHRISTCHURCH, December 21
The. Wheat Purchase, Board lias issued a, circular notifying interim payments arranged for 1934 wheat crop f.a.q. milling wheat. The price for main varieties has been advanced two pence per bushel on last year’s figures, with tlie usual monthly investments after. March. Buying price by millers is unaltered. The North Island is this year included in the regulations. The following are the prices, sacks in all cases being extra : • • - January, February and March prices are: Tuscan 3/6; Hunters 3/8; pearl and velvet 2/10, all f.o.b. at the growers ■ nearest port. The buying price for the North Island varieties is the same as • the South Island, Tuscan being plus tenpence per bushel delivered at certain, mills at Feilding, Palmerston North, Marton, Carterton and Wanganui. Selling prices for January, February and March are:—Tuscan or equivalent quality 4/7j ; Hunters 4/9J-.
