RADIO SERVICES RESTORED

AUCKLAND, December 20.

A_ restoration of the “Friendly Road” radio services conducted by Rev C. G. Scrimgeour (“Uncle Scrim”) and T. T. Garland (“Uncle Tom”) has been permitted by the Government, advice to this effect having been received by Mr Scrimgeour from the Postmaster-General. The services will be recommenced probably on New Year’s Eve from the B Station, IZJ3, which has been acquired by the “Friendly Road” organisation. Other programmes will also be broadcast by the formed IZR personalities.
