(To the Editor), Sir, —In the recent .court, case held in Hokitika it would have been expected that, a more, chivalrous and manly attitude would have been taken up by those concerned, and that they would have refrained from mentioning either the children’s school picnic or me as , teacher, as the two matters had no connection whatever.
