At the Sydney Stadium, in the fight for the heavyweight title of Now South Wales, to-night, Jock 'McDonald gained the decision on a foul in the twelfth round oyer Pietro Spagnola. At the Leichardt Stadium, Jimmy Purcell obtained a points decision over the Canadian, Billy Petrie, in a twelve rounds lightweght bout.
