Duncan Reid, whose death is recorded in a Christchurch telegram today is a son of Mr and Mi’s W. Reid of Beach Street. He wa s well known in the town and for. years wa s an employee of the City Butchery before leaving for Christchurch.
The de.ath took 'place at Westland this morning of Air ixenvy iCraee, Deceased was a native' of Ross and 65 years of age. He had been in the hospital for. some three months' and previously to that had been staying at itlie Occidental Hotel for some years. He was a single man and leave s one sister (Mi's H. Growcott of Hokitika) and four brothers (William, of Woodstock, Charles, of Fergusons, Simon, of Greymouth, \ and Edward,' of Westport).
