FATAL INJURIES
CYCLIST COLLIDES WITH CAR
BOY’S DEATH IN HOSPITAL

AUCKLAND, December 18
Fatal injuries to the head were received by a pupil of St Helier’s Bay School, Albert Leonard Tucker, aged 14, as a result of a collision between his bicycle and a motor car this morning. The boy, a sou of Mr A. Tucker, had returned to his home at Walmsley Road only a few minutes earlier with advice that he had passed his proneiency examination. - The boy returned to his home after making an earliar visit to the school to learn the examination results, and was on his way t,o do an errand for his mother when the Accident occurred.
The car, which- was driven by IT. A. Horrocks, of St Metiers, was travelling toward the city. The boy suffered severe cuts on the face, and also received serious head injuries. He was taken to Auckland Hospital, where his death occurred.
