The liner “Empress of Britain,” which has sailed from Southampton for New York after annual overhaul will after a cruise from New York to the West Indies proceed on a 30,C00 mile trip round the world, taking 124 clays.
This is the liner’s third round the world voyage. The passengers to New York in the vessel included Mr Bingham (11.5. A. Ambassador) and Mrs Bingham, who will spend Christmas with their family. • The Ambassador will return to London in February.
