On Saturday the West Coast hoys commenced their second matches against teams representing the Canterbury Boys’.Association. Both gamer, were being played at the Christ’s College ground. In the senior game, Canterbury were the first to bat. Evans and KupCr gave (h, side a good start, but, after.they bad been dismissed, several Wickets -fell in close succession. Almond, with a well-played 32, enabled the total to reach 122. Casey ami Knapp again opened" iL'OnfidonOy fop West Const and, at the luncheon adjournment n.o wickets had fallen for M runs. (The-- visitors continued to show confidence. At the century, Casey, who had scored 46 wttn good cricket, was bowled by a leg break from Armitage. Knapp went soon afterwards, but Adamson and Tindall carried the. score past the Canterbury total.
The Coa sf ' bowling analysis was James 4 for 26, Vaughan 3 for 26, ■Morgan 1 for 14, Casey 2 for 30, Knapp none for 11.
