RED ACTIVITIES
INCREASE NOTED IN INDIA

CALCUTTA, December 14
There has been a grave increase in the Communist activities in India during the past few months. It has followed on the discovery of Moscow’s plans for the intensifying of a subversive campaign against the British Government in India, including the organisation of strikes, the organising of nationalist and student and peasant movements, and am endeavour to undermine the loyalty of the Indiah troops.
The most powerful Red groups are in Calcutta and Bombay. The agitators are now endeavouring to develop their movement in the agriculture areas.
