BLEDISLOE MEDAL
TO BE NO AWARD THIS YEAR,
CHRISTCHURCH, December 13. No award of the Blodisloe Medal for agriculture will he made this ! year, according to a decision reached by the Board of Governors of Lincoln College yesterday, when it was decided to niake no nomination for the present iyear. The decision was reached in; goinmittee, the chairman (Dr H. G. Denham) stating afterwards that the next award would be considered in September, 1934. The Blodisloe Medal, which was presented by the Governor-General (Lord Blodisloe) in 1931, is awarded annually to former students of Lincoln College who, in the opinion of the hoard, have rendered the greatest service to agriculture in the Dominion during the year. Previous winners have been Mr H. A. Knight, of Racecourse Hill, and Mr George Rennie, of Taupiri.
