SYDNEY, December 13
At to-day’s wool sales 12,235 bales were offered, and 11.532 were sold, also 3053 bales privately. There was strong general competition from Yorkshire, Japan, Germany ItaSly, France and local users, with satisfactory clearances. The market was firm. Greasy merino made 29£ pence for four bales from Upper Manilla.
