BATTLING TOWARD',’ANTARCTIC.

RADIO MESSAGE FROM SHIP

(Special to Press Association) By Radio from Wyatt Earp.

WELLINGTON, December 13

Through terrific winds arid biinipy seas, the Wyatt Earp with the Ellsworth expedition lias battled her way almost a thousand iriiles towards the Antarctic pack ice. The hazards of navigation have been enhanced' by the fact that only once in the last six days lias the captain been able to find by solar observation .the ship’s position. Had' the decks been indiscriminately and loosely crammed, the deck load would have been overboard some time ago. In spite-of the rolling of the ship and tumbling waters, ’ everything on board goes smoothly. The temperature is 30 degrees, and. all on board are well and cheerful. ■ / -----
