HUGE LONDON ’DROME PLAN

LONDON, December 12

(A project for constructing a huge aerodrome in the heart of London in the form of a platform above the Thames betwee n Southwark Bridge and Blackfriars Bridge, is shortly being introduced to the London City Council.. The project is one on' similar line to. those advocated by a famous air pioneer, Air-Commodore Samson, shortly before his death in 1931. It would, involve the passengers ascending by lifts to the platform which would be a quarter of a mile long, .and sufficiently high to enable ships to pass underneath it.
