ANOTHER N.Z. RECORD BROKEN. (Per press Association, Copyright). ’AUCKLAND, December 10. Australian . and New Zealand swimming records for 150yds free style .were broken, by,, the visiting Australian champion, Miss Francis Bult, when she won the final test against the New Zealand champions a* Auckland on Saturday night.. Miss Bult led throughout, and registered lmin 44 4-ssec. This time eclipsed by two-fifths of a second the Australian record, established ,at Sydney on February -.9, 1929, by Miss Jean Cocks, and was aisle 2-ssec. faster than the New Zealand record, made last February by Miss Marie Farguhar. Misg Mona Leydon, whom Miss Bult heat ' by ■ five yards, finished half a yard, ahead of Misses Barbara Lewis and ;Edn a Biainey, who deadheated for third place. Misses Dennis and ’ Bult leave tomorrow morning to swim at Mata. Mata, Rotorua, New Plymouth, Wanganui and Wellington.
