TREASURY LEAKAGE ALLEGED U.S. GOLD PRICE & LONDON. (United Progs Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) WASHINGTON, December 9. A sensation developed to-day when it was announced that the United States Treasury is investigating complains that the London market has been getting from four to eight minutes advance information of the Treasury's dairy announcements of the gold
price. It is said that the price is fixed through telephoe conversations among various officials. The possibility of any “leak” is held to be all but- impossible. Nevertheless, the matter will be sifted.
