A dramatic picturisation of what might happen to any small town girl with movie .'aspirations highlights “Goldie Gets Along,” it.K.O-ltadio picture at the Princess Theatre to-night with Lili Damita in the leading role. ■ As the beautiful French girl who fulfils her ambitions of getting the proverbial break, in pictures, only to give up suddenly her career after signing a starring , contract, Miss Damita gives a splendid performance. How she crashes the gates of the Hollywood film studios, after winning a series of : framed .bath- ■ ing heaitty contests, provides the novel theme around . which the story of “Goldie Gets Along” is woven. Charles Morton, Sam Hardy, Nat Pendleton, Arthur Hoyt and Lita Chevret are in the supporting cast under the direction of Mai. St. Clair who worked from William A, Drake’s adaptation of Hawthorne' Hurst’s novel. “Goldie,” is a J. G. Bachmann production. The serial will also be continued a further stage.
