IMPROVED FINANCES. (Per Press Association —Copyright). WELLINGTON, November 30. , Preliminary figures’of the Railway’s working for the four weekly period to November 11, show aii increase in gross revenue of £33,941 compared with the corresponding period last year. Operating expenses increased by £IB4B, leaving an increase in net revenue of £32,093. From April 1 to November TT the gross revenue" shows an increase of £-51,912, and expenditure a decrease of £45,700, leaving an increase in net revenue of £97,102 compared with the corresponding period.
