A few days ago, a letter was received from a young woman in New Zealand, giving full, details of the man, and stating that for some year s he was subject to mysterious fainting attaeks. The man’s condition became worse, and doctors operated, a portion of the skull being removed, revealing a jellylike substance growing over part- of the brain. This had apparently been pressing on the brain, and the surgeons removed it, > / , It is hoped when the effects of the operation have worn off that the man wilt completely recover his health and memory, , '
