LATE LOCALS
The annual meeting of the congregation of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church ■ was held last evening, when the Rev: G. A. Naylor presided over a good attendance. General satisfaction was expressed at the progress recorded in the reports presented in connection with the various branches of the Church’s activities. A pleasing feature was the work among the young people, iu which an increase in membership was noted. The establishment of a Bible Class at Ivokatahi had proved very, successful. The resignation of Mr; H King, who has held the office of ' secretary and treasurer for many .years wa,s received with sincere regrpt| fitting reference being made to his (worthy service. The hope was expressed that-,the new church would be completed in time for the celebration in 1935 of the 70th anniversary of tlie founding of the Presbyterian Church in Hokitika.
