(Per Press issociation— Copyright )
DUNEDIN, November 28
Four ships, the Canadian Challenger, Port Gisborne, Meiko Mam, and Poolta were not worked to-day because of a shortage of waterside labour. Yesterday non-union men were employed to ooipplete the gang. Even with this extra, labour the Canadian Challenger was unable to operate all hatches. It as hoped that, this afternoon, a start will foe made unloading the Port Gisborne with non-unionists.
The disputes committee meets this laftemoon.
